Life moves so fast
yet so slow.
A deep ache in your chest,
moments of joy and guilt.
When time passes space is created;
to be filled with patience.
Forgiveness blossoms,
a new light
and deep love.

Everyone experiences this differently at various times in their life. My heart goes out to those who still feel it fresh. Here is some art from my life that was born during these moments.

A landscape painting with a sky, trees, and water, decorated with collage elements including a sun, waves, and abstract designs, featuring a drawing of a bicycle and a smiling face.

2020-21

A woman with long hair looking into a mirror, holding a dying sunflower to her thigh, seated on a chair in a room with photos and artwork on the walls.
Watercolor painting of a sunset over the Lake Michigan with reflections on the ice and a partly cloudy sky.
A monochrome drawing of a woman standing on a rock at the edge of a lake, with her back to the viewer, gazing at the sunset and distant city skyline across the water. Clouds fill the sky, reflecting on the water's surface.
Releasing Grief
Painting of a sunset over water with a city skyline, three people in the foreground watching the release of yellow balloons into the sky.

I would love to create art for your world

-Love,

Laura
